Dominique Muñoz

Dominique Muñoz received his BFA in Photography and Film from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015. In 2016, he became 1906 Group’s first Photographer-in-Residence. With his new role, he traveled around the country shedding light on the men and women who work so diligently on construction sites. Muñoz concluded his residency with a solo exhibition at the National Building Museum in 2017. Following his residency, Muñoz served as the in-house photographer for Framebridge. In 2025, Muñoz completed an MFA in Studio Art degree at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He was awarded the 2025 Denis Roussel Fellowship at the Center for Fine Art and Photography and has attended additional residencies at Storm King Art Center, ACRE and Ox-Bow School of Art.
