alexander lives in New York City, where he works on long-form documentary projects focused on the relationship between people, their ideologies, and their environments. His overall aim is to contribute to a wider understanding of group identities and cultures by highlighting the complexities and nuances of the individuals that comprise them. During his time as Photographer-in-Residence, he plans on adapting this approach to the Art of Building, using portraiture in conjunction with active site documentation to celebrate the efforts of those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to create the world around us.
